Darnell & Jayme moved to San Diego in August so that Jayme could begin work on her Masters and Phd degrees. Darnell continues to work for the same advertising agency but he is now 'the San Diego' office. They've settled into a comfortable young married's life and are constantly busy. Layla is in Atlanta working on her music therapy certification at University of Georgia at Athens. When she came home for Thanksgiving, She had a definite southern drawl starting to creep into your speech pattern.
We threw an 80th Bday Party for my Dad, Walt in September. 125 of his friends joined us at his house to help celebrate reaching this wonderful milestone. It was a fun time for all. He has a ton of great friends. Earlier in the week, 50 of his friends joined him on a 20 mile bike ride. He's so so active.

We welcomed a new member to the family with the addition of the grandcat, Jersey. She belongs to Jayme and Darnell who couldn't take her with them to their new apartment. So we have two adorable black and white kitties. Sydney has welcomed Jersey and loves having someone to play tag with now. Gail's health has been decent this year and this is the first year in ten years that she hasn't had at least one hospitalization for the year. Keith had a procedure earlier in the year, but has sailed through it and is 100% again.
Layla did the choregraphy for her 1st full length movie: Life is not a musical, the musical. It's 90 mins, but get a bucket of popcorn..hook it up to the tv and enjoy. Also check out a commercial that Layla and Gail participated in for Lupus LA.
